The General Assistance Fund and Health Benefit Fund for Fall 2025 will open October 1, 2025.

UNIT 3 GENERAL ASSISTANCE FUND (GAF)

 Unit 3 GAF claim process for Fall 2025 will open October 1, 2025 

• Claim process for Fall is available from October 1 to November 30, 2025
• Maximum of $350 per academic year & maximum of 1 claim per academic year
• Funds are available on a first-come-first-served basis; submit your claims early
• Invoices and receipts must be dated between August 1 and November 30, 2025
• Members must use their @torontomu.ca email address when applying
• Incomplete claims will be denied (please follow instructions carefully)

 Eligibility:

• Unit 3 Lab Monitors, Graduate Assistants, and Teaching Assistants
• At least one contract in the 2025 Fall erm

 UNIT 3 HEALTH BENEFIT FUND (HBF) 

• Claim process for the 2025 / 2026 academic year is available from October 1, 2025 to August 15, 2026
• Funds are available on a first-come-first-served basis; submit your claims early
• Maximum of $700 per academic year & Maximum of 1 claim per academic year
• All receipts must be dated from August 16, 2025 to August 15, 2026 (inclusive)
• Incomplete claims will be denied; click here to review a list of eligible expenses.

 Eligibility:

• Unit 3 Lab Monitors, Graduate Assistants, and Teaching Assistants
• At least one contract in the Fall 2025 term
