UNIT 3 GENERAL ASSISTANCE FUND (GAF)
Effective September 1, 2024, funds are based on academic year (no longer based on calendar year) i.e., Members are eligible to apply once per academic year.
All payments are issued by electronic funds transfer (EFT) at the end of the claim process, no later than May 31, 2025.
- Claim process for Winter is available from February 1 to April 30th at 5PM
- Maximum of $350 per academic year & maximum of 1 claim per academic year
- Funds are available on a first-come-first-served basis; submit your claims early
- Invoices and receipts must be dated between January 1 and April 30, 2025
- Members must use their @torontomu.ca email address when applying
- Incomplete claims will be denied (please follow instructions carefully)
Eligibility:
- Unit 3 Lab Monitors, Graduate Assistants, and Teaching Assistants
- At least one contract in the Winter 2025 term
